FAST growing air conditioning concern, Air Excellence has donated another soccer kit to Moses “Bambo” Chunga Soccer Academy as part of its giving back to the community.
In an interview on the sidelines of the hand-over ceremony, company marketing executive Thandanani Chino said giving back to the community is part of the company’s social corporate responsibility strategy.
“We are happy to be donating this soccer kit to the Moses Bambo Chunga Academy because this is part of our social responsibility strategy.
“The last time we donated to a social football club in Hatfield and this time we have decided to give to this academy and we are not stopping here, this is a continuous process that will see us give to more organisations.
“And we are going to venture into other sporting disciplines as well so that we try to strike a balance and not just concentrate on soccer alone,” she said.
Speaking at the same occasion Moses Chunga whose is undoubtedly one of the best soccer players to have come from this country, expressed joy over the donation, adding that it will inspire the juniors to do more.
“What Air Excellence has done will surely give the young players some confidence and inspire them to do more in their soccer careers and they will always look back to this day because it’s a noble gesture,” he said.
Chunga whose football CV is well decorated from both being a player and coach said he is enjoying it more working with young players adding that there is less pressure.
The former Dynamos player is well known in his coaching career for his youth policy which saw him grooming the likes of Eddy Mashiri and Samson Choruwa who became household names at Dynamos.
