FORMER Zanu PF legislator Masango Matambanadzo has won the Kwekwe Central Constituency seat beating MDC Alliance favourite Blessing Chebundo.
Matambanadzo was recalled from Parliament during the 5th session of the Eighth Parliament of Zimbabwe after he was expelled from Zanu PF for allegedly belonging to the ousted G40 faction.
According to statistics released by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC), Matambanadzo polled about 7800 votes against Chebundo’s 7100 votes.
We are back with another set of results as promised

The win by Matambanadzo means there is going to be three political parties (Zanu PF, MDC Alliance and National Patriotic Front) in Parliament and an independent Temba Mliswa who won the Norton seat.
Meanwhile, results so far released by ZEC indicate that Zanu PF has scooped most of the Parliamentary seats except in Harare and Bulawayo and a few in other provinces.-
