CONVERGED Mobile service provider NetOne, has launched the One-fi and and One-Cliq communication products in a move that will see customers access various services ranging from voice, video, internet, mobility, iptv and a host of others under one NetOne line.
Speaking during the launch, NetOne Acting Chief Executive Officer Brian Mutandiro said the new products would go a long way in solving a number of woes facing customers on a day to day basis.
“ONE-FI is a wire to the X (WTTX) service or wire to the premises service where X means it can be a church, any building or a school, universities, shopping malls, homes hotels and any other public places. We are exited that we have the capability to offer multimedia services to all of the above and the product we bring to the nationa can connect up to 32 people at the same location using a NetOne sim card.
“Moreso, One-Fi solution provides a phone service using our range of numbers that can be matched to suit customer requirements. This measn that any applicant of the service can keep their last six digits,” said Mutandiro.
He added that NetOne’s angle of innovation was based on the fixed mobile convergence (FMC) and the company was announcing its arrival on the convergence scene through this platform which provides fibre like broadband services complimented by mobility.
“Moreover, One-fi becomes a ONE STOP shop for all your communication requirements. Subscribers can now have truly bundled services from one operator.
“Our value addition innovations are also in line with the government’s thrust on the provision of services that enhance e-commerce, e-health, e-agriculture and e-learning and our strategies are deliberately biased towards inclusive connectivity in Zimbabwe hence ONE-FI will be a vital enabler in the community information centres both in rural and urban communities.”
Meanwhile, One-Ciq has been introduced as a token of appreciation to subscribers for their continued support in NetOne brands.
“We have been going around the country and have made contacts with various community groups and in the process learing the needs of the people.
“This product applies to closed user groups both formal and informal. Its premised on the desire to enable ease of communication by offering discounted rates to community groups like business groups, church cell groups, sporting groups, educational and proffesional groups, mukando and any other likeminded groups.”
All one needs is a minimum of of five people in a group and one signs in using a NetOne sim card automatically the person becomes entitled to special rates.
