National Handling Services (NHS) flew Zimbabwe’s flag high at the just ended Sanganai/Hlanganani Tourism expo which was recently held at the ZITF grounds in Bulawayo under the theme ‘Africa’s Premier Business Exchange.’ The event came soon after the President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa commissioned a dry port in Walvis bay Namibia, appointing National Handling Services as the management company to handle the dry port.
The development has seen NHS which is mostly known for offering aviation ground services, diversifying into the relatively new territory of marine handling, a move that is expected to ease business operations at Walvis bay through timely clearance.
However, NHS has reaffirmed its commitment to continue offering excellent services in the aviation industry. The firm had little rest during the expo as it was kept on its feet with numerous buyers and exhibitors that poured into Bulawayo for the tourism extravaganza. This followed the signing of a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) and Ethiopian Airlines making the airline the official carrier for the tourism expo. As a result, business was at its peak at the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport, fortunately, National Handling Services was equal to the task, offering some of the best service on the continent.
